Artist's Description

Inks Dam was built in the mid-1930s on a Texas section of the Colorado River (not to be confused with Colorado River that flows through Arizona, Utah, and other south western states). The building of the dam flooded part of the forest and created the reservoir known as Inks Lake. These ghost trunks are the remnants of the flood still seen protruding from the lake.
